Worldwide Services has joined Dutch Data Center Association
That the Netherlands leads the IT world and likes to position itself as a pioneer is not unknown to many. The Netherlands is often in the spotlight when it comes to IT, because of the size of the industry and all the new technologies that are being announced in rapid succession. IT is one of the fastest growing industries in the Netherlands and is now the most important arm within the Technology, Media & Telecom sector. Over 200,000 people are employed within IT, generating a turnover of 90.3 billion euros.
One of the large branch associations is the Dutch Data Center Association (DDA) and is the industry organization for data centers in the Netherlands. Worldwide Services is proud to announce that we have joined the Dutch Data Center Association in the Netherlands.
Dutch Data Center Association is thus an important player on the subject of data centers. Currently there are 20 to 25 plans in the Netherlands for the establishment or expansion of data centers. With this number it is clear that the Netherlands is a serious player in the field of IT. Dutch Data Center Association has three focus areas: Energy & Sustainability, Education & Employment and greening of power supplies. In addition, they are active in the field of sustainability, particularly in the reuse of data center residual heat.
Worldwide Services is looking forward to the partnership with Dutch Data Center Association. In order to better offer our services in the Netherlands, we are joining this important branche association. We find it important to join the Netherlands which is a pioneer in the field of tech, IT and data centers. Worldwide Services has a lot of knowledge of these areas and is therefore an important player for Dutch Data Center Association. Together, we are contributing to technical standards that will enable the data center industry to further expand and distinguish itself in the Netherlands and Europe.
